Togedemaru is another electric-type, but don’t let its traditional electric rat look fool you: This guy’s part-steel, too. The Pokémon also lives up to the first part of its name and is, indeed, very cute. In the video, we get a first glimpse of Cutiefly in action when it unleashes an airborne attack on a Pancham. Of course, with the word fly attached to the end of it, it’ll probably end up resembling something similar to a common housefly. CutieflyĬutiefly is a flying/fairy-type Pokémon that resembles both a hummingbird and a mosquito. We get the sense that it’s a mosquito or gnat of some sorts, but its wild hair and shell-like arms suggest that we could be totally off base. At least, that’s what it looks like - it’s hard to say just what, exactly, Tapu Koko is supposed to be. But unlike Dedenne, Tapu Koko is inspired by vicious insects instead of cuddly rodents. It’s the second Pokémon with that type matching, the first being the tiny mouse Dedenne. This electric/fairy-type is the first to appear in the new trailer, where it’s sent into battle by the powerful trainer Hala.
